Scalp Peeling
Peeling is a cosmetic procedure aimed at removing the top layer of skin — dead cells — and renewing the skin. This process helps the skin look smoother, brighter and more youthful.
Types of peeling
1. Mechanical peeling (so-called scrub)
Uses products with a granular texture that physically remove dead cells.
2. Chemical peeling
Performed using acids (e.g. glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid), which exfoliate the skin chemically. Divided into three levels:
Superficial (mostly glycolic or lactic acid)
Medium depth
Deep peeling (performed under a doctor's supervision)
3. Enzyme peeling
Uses natural enzymes (e.g. pineapple or papaya enzymes), which soften dead cells. Gentle and suitable for sensitive skin.
4. Device-based peeling
Involves the use of special devices (e.g. microdermabrasion, laser peeling).
Benefits of peeling
Cleanses pores
Reduces acne and blackheads
Reduces wrinkles and pigment spots
Improves skin tone and texture
Promotes skin renewal
Recommendations
Always use sunscreen after peeling
Do not use peeling too often (1–2 times a week is usually enough)
If you have skin problems or sensitive skin, consult a dermatologist
